Launched in 24th March 2024, The Chhapai is an Indian clothing brand founded by Akash Sharma, focused on graphic T-shirts and hoodies.

It all started with a simple idea — to create a range of cool and funky T-shirts that people would actually enjoy wearing. Nothing complicated. We just wanted to make something unique and different from the usual.

We’ve always loved design, art, graphics, and printing. We also take inspiration from Indian culture, pop culture, and the little things around us that can make a good print. Over time, that simple idea turned into a clothing brand.

Our focus is simple: create interesting designs and make good-quality T-shirts and hoodies that people would actually want to wear. We don’t want to create hundreds of designs just for the sake of having a big collection. We want each design to have a reason behind it and keep experimenting with new ideas.

The Chhapai is still growing, and we’re excited to see where the journey takes us.
