If you’ve ever searched “The Chhapai” on Google, you’ve probably noticed something odd — some results talk about business cards and stationery. That’s not us.
And honestly, we get why Google gets confused. The name Chhapai literally means “print” in Hindi, and there’s also an older printing company out there with a similar name.
But let’s make one thing super clear — The Chhapai is not a printing company.
So, What Is The Chhapai?
We’re a small homegrown fashion label based in Noida, started by Akash Sharma. What began as a simple idea — to make clothes that actually say something — slowly turned into a collection of graphic tees, hoodies, and everyday wear that people connect with.
Each design comes straight from real thoughts, moods, and moments — the kind of creativity that just hits when you’re feeling inspired, not forced.
We run on a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model, which means when you order from us, you’re getting it straight from the source — no middlemen, no compromises.
Apart from our main clothing line, we also help startups and creators with custom merch — team t-shirts, creative drops, and limited edition collections made with The Chhapai touch.
Where the Confusion Comes From
The word “Chhapai” is part of our culture. It means “to print” — something that’s always been tied to art and creation.
That’s actually what inspired our name. We loved how it connects to expression, but over time, some people started assuming we were linked to that luxury printing company that does cards and stationery.
We’re not.
We share the name, not the work.
They print on paper — we print on fabric, on ideas, and on self-expression.
What We Actually Stand For
For us, Chhapai isn’t about machines or printing presses. It’s about expression. It’s about putting a piece of yourself out there for the world to see — through design, through what you wear, through how you show up.
Every tee or hoodie we make carries that thought. Each one’s meant to say something — about identity, creativity, and individuality.
In Short
The Chhapai is a clothing and lifestyle brand. We’re not connected to any printing company, nor do we deal in stationery.
We’re here to give meaning to print — not as a service, but as self-expression.
